Before You Begin — Which situation applies to you?
Option A
I have a Facebook Business Manager account already set up. Follow the standard steps below to add us as a partner.
Option B
I only have an Instagram account (no Facebook Business Manager). You'll need to create a free Meta Business Suite account first and connect your Instagram to it. This is a one-time process and takes about 5 minutes.
Option A — How to Add Castella Media Group as a Partner
For those with an existing Facebook Business Manager
- Go to your Business Manager Partner settings at business.facebook.com/settings/partners/ — or navigate there manually via Business Settings > Partners.
- Click Add and select Give a partner access to your assets.
- Enter our Business ID: 1537966853320419
- Under Select Assets, choose both your Facebook Page and your Instagram account.
- Enable permissions for Ads and Insights only. This gives us everything we need to run and track your campaigns, without access to your messages, inbox, or organic content.
- Once submitted, we'll receive a notification and get everything set up on our end.
Please note: All ad spend is billed directly to Castella Media Group by Facebook. You will not be charged for any ad costs.
Option B — I Only Have Instagram
To run ads through Instagram, Meta requires your account to be connected to a Meta Business Suite. Here's how to get set up:
Step 1 — Create a Meta Business Suite account
Go to business.facebook.com and click Create Account. Enter your business name, your name, and your business email address, then follow the prompts.
Step 2 — Connect your Instagram account
Inside Business Suite, go to Settings > Accounts > Instagram Accounts. Click Add and log in with your Instagram credentials to connect your account.
Step 3 — Add Castella Media Group as a partner
Once your Instagram is connected to Business Suite, follow the Option A steps above to add us as a partner and select your Instagram account under assets.
If you run into any issues during setup, contact us and we'll walk you through it.
How to Remove Castella Media Group as a Partner
You can revoke our access at any time by following these steps:
- Go to business.facebook.com/settings/partners/
- Find Castella Media Group in your list of partners.
- Click on our name, then select Remove Partner.
- Confirm the removal.
This will immediately revoke our access to your assets. If you have an active campaign at the time, please let us know in advance so we can wrap things up properly.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will Castella Media be able to see my messages or post on my profile? +
No. We request Ads and Insights permissions only. This means we can run ad campaigns and view performance data — nothing else. We cannot read your messages, post organic content, or access your personal account.
Will I be charged for the ads? +
No. All ad spend is billed directly to us by Facebook. You will not receive any charges related to your campaign's ad costs.
Do I need to keep the partner access active after my campaign ends? +
That's up to you. We recommend keeping it active if you plan to run future campaigns with us, as it saves you the setup step next time. You can remove us at any time using the steps above.
I don't have a Facebook Page — do I need one? +
If you're only running Instagram promotions, you can get started with just an Instagram Professional account connected to Meta Business Suite. However, having a Facebook Page does give you access to a wider range of ad placements and targeting options, which can improve your campaign results.
I connected my Instagram but it's not showing up under assets — what do I do? +
Make sure your Instagram account is set to a Professional account (Creator or Business) and that it's fully linked inside Meta Business Suite under Settings > Accounts > Instagram Accounts. Personal Instagram accounts cannot be added as ad assets.
Can I limit what Castella Media can do with my accounts? +
Yes. When adding us as a partner, you choose exactly which assets and permissions to grant. We only require Ads and Insights access. You are always in control and can adjust or remove access at any time.
I'm getting an error when trying to add the Business ID — what should I check? +
Make sure you're entering the ID exactly as shown: 1537966853320419. Also confirm you're logged into the correct Business Manager account, and that your account has Admin access. If the issue persists, contact us and we'll help troubleshoot.
